DAU Barcelona expands with a new 1,000 m² space

This 2025, the DAU Barcelona Festival is growing more than ever. One of the great novelties of this edition is a spectacular tent of more than 1,000 m², installed in the Plaça dels Menjadors de les Treballadores, which will expand the family play space. It will be a new point of reference for the Gran DAU, where young and old can discover new games, learn the rules and have a great time sharing a table and smiles.

With this addition, DAU Barcelona will have 9 specialized gaming spaces spread over 10,500 m², with more than 500 tables and 360 new releases to discover and play. Over 4 days and 2 nights, the festival grows in duration, capacity and variety of activities, offering 52 hours of gaming for all audiences.

The festival is also growing hand in hand with the sector, with 64 participating publishers, 6 players’ clubs and 15 collaborating cultural associations, consolidating itself as an essential event in the city and as the largest cultural board game event in Catalonia and a benchmark throughout the State.

The DAU Barcelona 2025 will be bigger, more participatory and more exciting than ever.
