THE UNIVERSE OF THE GAME IMAGED
The DAU 2025 poster reflects the essence of the festival: a meeting point where imagination and creativity give life to thousands of adventures through board games.
Inspired by the different dice and the worlds that are born in each game, Edu Valls has created five characters that represent the pillars of the game and the festival: the authors, the artists, the publishers, the players and the passion for playing.
These characters are also the protagonists of the comic “The 5 guardians of the game”, an epic story that explains how this imaginary was born… and, with it, the DAU Barcelona.
I'm Edu and I'm passionate about board games.
A retired engineer and vocational illustrator, I began my artistic training 10 years ago at Escola Llotja and Escola JOSO.
I have been working professionally in the board game industry for 5 years, creating illustrations that give personality and life to each project.
I love exploring new styles and finding the right image to make each game shine and tell its own story.
